Hi  Ben,  
I would just like to let you know that William at the SAN ATP office was
my instructor for my IPC.  I can assure you that in all my years of
flying, I soloed in 1958, I have never been more pleased with my
training program. I have over 1500 hours and was in need of a review
and I usually use local freelance instructors or one of the local
FBO'S. I once took a IFR refresher course with a large corporate
school in Santa Monica in the mid 1970's and was disappointed, as I did
not feel as though I was a safer pilot after the instruction.

William did a great job of going over all the knowledge areas and the
pushing me to discover my areas of weakness in the aircraft, C-172.  He
then was very tactful in pointing out my weak areas and how he was going
to help me not only pass my IPC but to in fact be a safer pilot for the
experience.  He skillfully pushed me and progressively added work load
to bring my flying back to a satisfactory level. I can not speak too
highly of my experience with William and ATP. 

Because of William , I am seriously considering taking the ATP CFI
program, I have already started studying for the written exam.
