Hey Jim,

My name is Ashley Dowd and I'm enrolled in the Airline Career
Pilot Program in Arlington, TX. I just wanted to say that I'm
really enjoying my time here and the instructors that I have had
thus far have gone out of their way to help in my knowledge of
the aircraft and the material. I also wanted to take a minute to
point out those instructors who have gone out of their way to
make sure that I received adequate training.

Walter Hohmann was my Private Pilot Program instructor and from
the first day he was energetic and knowledgeable about the
material. He was helpful and constructive in the aircraft and
always made it his top priority to make sure my other two
classmates and I were ready for our checkride and capable as
pilots. He has also continued to help our class regardless of the
fact that he is not our immediate instructor. Matt Drumm was my
time-building instructor, and like Walt, was never passive when
it came to making sure that both ground school and the flight
lesson were conducted correctly and that any mistakes that were
made were met with constructive criticism.

Robert Horton is the most recent instructor that I have had for
my multi-engine training. He's is very knowledgeable and has made
it his goal that Gabe, Matt and I not only know the material, but
can explain it in the cleanest and most direct way possible for
our checkride. He seems very capable and I am excited to have him
for part of my multi-engine training. Finally Jeremy Yaple
provides responsible oversight here. Any time I have had any
concern he has dealt with it immediately. If at any point it
appeared that we were not where we needed to be he has corrected
the problem immediately. I feel that the instructors that are
here are among ATP's finest and make me feel that my decision in
choosing ATP was the right one.
