Dear Jim,

I'm a graduate of the ACPP program at the Daytona Beach location. In
fact, I was a zero time student as of May 4 last year when I reported
in. After ATP, I attended the Gulfstream first officer training program.
About 2 weeks ago, I completed my IOE and am now flying my 250 hours as
a first officer intern.

This email is meant as a very particular and very directed note of
thanks to Paul Marocchi. Paul was my instructor for my multi private and
instrument ratings and his influence continues today. A thorough and
meticulous instructor, he devoted a lot of time and energy to his
students. This included all manner of pop quizzes, return phone calls at
night on questions we'd had during the day and FAA/NTSB handouts on
timely topics. (It also included an emphasis on brevity and
professionalism on the radio, something I'm particularly glad for since
I'm based out of Miami!) In fact... David Smith, my Gulfstream classmate
and another Paul alumnus, regularly talk about "Paulisms" we use in our
day to day while flying the line.

There's no doubt that ATP was a wise investment on my part when it came
to selecting a school to train at. But in the service industry, it's the
front line provider who is the face of the company to the customer, not
the CEO. And it's those same front line providers who engender the
repeat business and personal referrals that can make all the difference
in these economic times. It's because of professionals like Paul that
I'm planning on returning to ATP for my CFI training and that I
recommend ATP to anyone who asks me about flight training.

And it would be remiss of me not to add that I owe a large part of this
honor I was recently awarded to Paul, as well as all the Daytona based
instructors that were so patient and dedicated with me.

I hope for continued success for Paul and the Daytona instructors as
well as the rest of the ATP team.
